Greeley, PA – A year ago, Kahr Arms introduced their double-action micro-compact pistol – the Kahr CT380. Following on the success of that diminutive size model, the .380 ACP is now being introduced in a dark graphite gray color called Cerakote Tungsten. In addition, the Kahr CW380, which was introduced in 2013, is also being offered in Cerakote Tungsten.
The CT3833TU features a 3.0 inch conventional rifled barrel, an overall length of 5.52 inches and a height of 4.4 inches. By comparison, the CW3833TU has a 2.58 inch barrel, an overall length of 4.96 inches and a height of just 3.9 inches. The CT3833TU weighs just 11.44 ounces without a magazine and the CW3833TU weighs 10.2 ounces. The pistol has a black polymer frame and features 4140 steel inserts molded into the front and back of the frame for added rigidity. It has a machined, solid 416 stainless steel slide and a textured polymer grip. The Cerakote Tungsten finish on the slide, slide stop and lever on both models, makes it a strong appeal among gun owners.
Both pistols feature a lock breech, modified Browning type recoil lug, and utilizes Kahr's seven patents including the "safe cam" action found in all Kahr pistols. The result is a micro-compact pistol with very little recoil and quick follow-up shots. The pistols feature drift adjustable white bar-dot combat rear sight and a pinned-in polymer front sight. The high temperature ceramic Cerakote coating is a multi-step process which results in a durable finish that holds up well under normal use.
Both models are part of the Value Series Plus collection and is only being produced in limited quantities for a limited time only. The CW380 and the CT380 Cerakote Tungsten is sold with an extra magazine and polymer case at the same MSRP as their standard Value Series .380 at $419.

Greeley, PA – USA based, Kahr Firearms Group are now officially Pennsylvanians. The firearms group ceremoniously cut the ribbon at the grand opening of their new headquarters on Tuesday, August 11th in Blooming Grove Township in Pike County. The construction was completed in just 19 months since breaking ground in May 2014.
The 40,000 square foot building is the new corporate headquarters and is considered “Phase I” in the construction. The building contains offices for the 20+ employees, warehousing and shipping, and also R&D Engineering. Plans for Phase II and Phase III are still in the development stage at this time.
The structure also houses two underground, 100-yard firing ranges. The underground ranges will be used exclusively by Kahr Firearms Group for testing and development of their extensive product lines and should not disturb nearby neighbors or the wildlife that call the 620-acre parcel home.
The event was not shy of state dignitaries, who came in support of Kahr’s new headquarters. In attendance were: Col. Robert DeSousa, state director for Sen. Pat Toomey, U.S. Representative Thomas Marino, Sheriff Philip Bueki, Pike County Sheriff and representatives from state offices plus several county commissioners from Northeast PA. In total, more than 200 people attended the event.
“We are very proud of the long and respected reputation of our three brands. We are also proud that our presence in the firearm industry supports the basic freedoms that each of us has because of the Second Amendment, but now is the time to focus on the future.” stated Justin Moon, Kahr Firearms Group CEO. “As we continue to expand our business in Pennsylvania, we look forward to bringing jobs to Pike County and also hope that we can convince other firearms industry companies to join us on this 620-acre property. Our job is far from over here.”
The plan for the new headquarters will also include a factory outlet retail store, likely to open sometime in 2016.
There are no plans at this time to close manufacturing plants in either Massachusetts or Minnesota, but starting sometime in 2016 some manufacturing and production will be conducted from the new Pike County location.

Greeley, PA – How fast is fast? If you believe that you excel at rapid, but perfectly controlled shooting skills, now is the time to prove it – and earn some nice “swag” while you do it. Kahr Firearms Group (KFG) invites all shooters, 18-years or older, to participate in the KFG 2015 YouTube Video Speed Shooting Contest. Bragging rights may only earn a nice pat on the back, but the grand prize for this YouTube contest is worth far more. Kahr is offering the winner $5,000 in value on any Kahr Firearms Group products which includes; Kahr, Magnum Research and Auto-Ordnance.
“Last year, through our Long-Range Shooting Contest, we challenged people to help us dispel the myth that accuracy is sacrificed in exchange for a smaller sized pistol when shooting long-range.” stated Justin Moon, CEO of Kahr Firearms Group. “This year, we are reaching out to shooting enthusiasts once again asking them to show us what they can do when shooting one of our products very rapidly, safely, and accurately at just 10 yards or more. I feel confident that the videos will more than demonstrate just how effective Kahr, Magnum Research and Auto-Ordnance firearms really are.”
In support of the universe of Kahr Firearms Group fans, we invite each of them to submit a video of them rapidly shooting any Kahr, Magnum Research or Auto-Ordnance firearm at 10 yards or more, and then posting it to YouTube. Next, provide a URL link directly to KFG and the winner will be determined by the video that has garnered a combination of the most Views and Likes. The contest period runs September 1, 2015 through November 30, 2015 and the winner will be announced on December 16, 2015.
The Speed Shooting Contest video must be at least 30-seconds to no more than 5-minutes in length, and must be original footage. The footage must demonstrate shooting at 10-yards or more, exclusively using any of the Kahr Firearm Group products. Check the Kahr website at www.kahr.com for a complete list of contest rules.

Pomona, NY – Effective July 1st, Kahr Firearms Group began participating in a new mobile app called GunDealio.com. The app sends digital offers and text messages directly to shooting enthusiasts. Currently, over 2,300 premier gun shops, across all 50 states, are included in the GunDealio app. Stores also include the major retailers such as Cabela’s®, Bass Pro Shops®, Gander Mountain®, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Academy®.
GunDealio.com gives manufacturers and retailers the opportunity to present geo-marketing messages directly to gun enthusiasts while they are shopping at their favorite gun shops. The push notifications will appear on the shopper’s Smartphone, informing them of deals on guns, optics, ammunition, reloading accessories, and more as soon as they walk into the store.
GunDealio was developed by Tom and Ryan Gresham. “We actually started working on GunDealio about 3 years ago as a way to reach gun enthusiasts.” stated Ryan Gresham. “Our idea was to create a way for gun consumers to get the most up-to-date and relevant information, along with manufacturers’ offers and deals while they were still in the store. Shoppers can then scroll the lists of the current deals and new product news in the app as well as receive push notifications to their phones. We are excited to have Kahr Firearms Group as an early sponsor of our program. Consumers are loyal to this brand and now they will be able to get the latest deals and news from Kahr while shopping at their favorite stores.”
The app is free and can be downloaded onto Smartphones from either Apple iTunes or the Google Play Store.

Pomona, NY – There was quite a buzz at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas in January, and a lot of that excitement was due to the unveiling of the new Gen2 Kahr Premium Series pistols. A year ago, the engineers at Kahr took a look at their existing premium line and decided to start with the basics, but then re-engineered it to give it a refreshing new look. The result is a new design that is sleeker and more tactical in appearance than their existing premium models.
The new Gen2 Premium pistols speak to the quality, accuracy and 100% made in the USA product that has always been Kahr’s mission. With even tighter tolerances and so many upgrades, it truly is the second generation of Kahr pistols. Some of the added value features of the new Gen2 Premium series include:
The Gen2 Premium pistols will be offered in a total of 12 models, four barrel lengths and three calibers including 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. MSRP on the new series will range from $976 to $1668 and will be available in the 9mm and .45 ACP in July/August 2015 and the .40 S&W in December 2015.

Pomona, NY – Last year, as things were just beginning to show signs of spring, Kahr Firearms Group stumbled across a bear den on their newly acquired 620-acre parcel of land. The den was home to a very underweight sow and one cub. That bear den was located just 400 yards from where the construction crew was about to begin with the excavation for the new Kahr Firearms Group offices in Pike County, Pennsylvania. The bear was tagged with a radio collar, tests were drawn on the bears, and they were returned to their den.
Now, it is one year later and the Pennsylvania Game Commission once again reached out to Kahr Firearms Group to gain permission to check on the status of the sow and her cub. Using tracking devices, they located the sow in a new den, just a little farther away from the ongoing construction site. Kahr is happy to report that this year, the sow is far healthier and she has expanded her family to 4 cubs. Unfortunately, there was no luck in locating the cub from last year. Game Officers believe that the cub from 2014 did not survive.
“The Pennsylvania Game Commission ran new tests on the sow and we were pleased to hear that Mama and her entire family were healthy after enduring the long, hard winter,” said Justin Moon, CEO of Kahr Firearms Group. “In 2013, when we purchased this land in Pike County, PA, one of the most appealing aspects was the vast wilderness it provided. We appreciate and respect that it is home to bears, coyotes, small game, and birds and hope that they all stick around when we move into our new headquarters in a couple months.”
The new Kahr Firearms Group corporate headquarters is expected to be finished in May of this year. Once the move is completed, they will close down all operations in New York. Their manufacturing plants in Pillager, Minnesota and Worcester, Massachusetts will remain in operation indefinitely.
